Customer page enhancements

We've updated the Customer page to improve usability and make it easier to find key information. The page is now organized into three clear sections: Account Details, Contact Details, and Customer ID.

Plus, we’ve added the Stripe Customer ID, allowing you to quickly access your customers’ Stripe page in your Stripe Account with a single click. This update streamlines customer management, providing a more efficient and intuitive experience.

Refund orders

You can now issue full or partial refunds directly from the Order Details page with a streamlined workflow. Simply click the "Issue Refund" button to process refunds within 60 days of the order date, with options to de-provision services and add refund reasons.

For domain refunds, we’ll attempt to delete or revoke the domain based on registry policies and process refunds accordingly—please note that some domains may not be eligible if cancellations or reversals aren't allowed. Whether refunding individual items or entire orders, you’ll have greater flexibility to support your customers. Plus, real-time status updates and built-in error handling ensure a smooth and transparent refund experience for your customers.

We've added support for DKIM keys in CNAME records in OpenSRS Storefront. This update streamlines email authentication and allows domain owners to configure DKIM records via CNAME entries, improving email deliverability.

Orders page updates

Order exports now include Tax Amount, Tax Rate, Tax Name, and Tax ID, giving you full visibility into taxes charged. We’ve also added the Stripe ID to the exported CSV, making it easier to match orders with Stripe transactions. Plus, the Storefront Order ID is now sent as metadata to Stripe, enabling you to match Storefront orders with Stripe receipts for better tracking and reconciliation.

You can now view the customer’s username and account status directly from the Domains page. We’ve also added a CSV export feature, making it easy to download domain data for analysis—whether it’s for tracking renewal rates or supporting your marketing campaigns.

Order history and receipts

We've introduced a detailed order history feature in the Storefront, allowing customers to easily view their past orders directly from their account. They can access key details for each order, such as purchased domains, payment methods, and order amounts. Customers can also download receipts with complete order information, making record-keeping more convenient.

Remove minimum selling price

We’ve removed the restrictions on minimum selling pricing, giving you the flexibility to set prices even below the cost. Previously, a minimum price was enforced to avoid negative balances, but now, with the switch to using your own Stripe account, you can adjust pricing to suit your specific needs.

Create a customer account

You can now create Storefront accounts on behalf of your customers. Enter their basic account details to quickly generate their account and securely send their login details, simplifying the setup process while ensuring secure password handling.
