OpenSRS sends thousands of messages daily on behalf of our resellers. We’re excited to announce the launch of a new messaging platform, a feature-rich system that gives you greater control over look and feel, language and source code of all the messages that OpenSRS sends on your behalf such as renewals notices, registrant verification emails, transfer notifications and many others.

LH

Through an easy-to-use interface, you will have full access to the three components that make up this new messaging platform:

Letterheads – A global component that will ensure brand consistency across all your messages.
Snippets – Reusable drag-and-drop elements that can be applied to any message to help you save time.
Message templates – The actual messages sent to your customers.

Once these three components have been customized and configured, you can decide what goes out to whom and when.

IMPORTANT: Migrating to the new messaging platform

We encourage you to recreate your customized messages in the new system and enable New Messaging. This is a great opportunity to configure your messages if you haven’t done so already.

The deadline for self-migration will be as follows: resellers who have not customized any messages will be automatically migrated on June 1, 2016. Resellers who have applied any type of customization to their messages will have until November 30, 2016 to make the switch.
