Meet the Resellers: Interneto Vizija
This latest installment in the “Meet the Resellers” series features Agne Kutkauskaite from Interneto Vizija, Lithuania’s largest domain registrar and web hosting company.

Agne Kutkauskaite, Interneto Vizija
James McNally (JM): How long has Interneto Vizija been doing business and what are all the services you offer to your customers?
Agne Kutkauskaite (AK): Interneto Vizija’s story began in 2003, when two students (from IT and business management) decided to start their own business. Our first two years were full of challenges, but these years were also very exciting and successful for us. In 2005 we became the largest web hosting company in Lithuania.
At first we were providing web hosting, web development and online advertising services, but later we made a decision to specialize in web hosting and virtual dedicated servers.
JM: Any interesting stories from your company’s history?
AK: Funny stories and misunderstandings happen almost every day. Some of them are related to our server hostnames – we label servers by names of plants and animals. Once we had a call from our customer: “How did you find out that my nickname in school was seal?!” As it turned out, his website was placed on our server named “seal” and he thought we did this on purpose. :)
JM: Where are you located and what makes it such a great place to do business?
AK: We are located in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Lithuania is the largest country of the Baltic states with a population of 3.5 million.
This is a great place for our business because major Lithuanian universities and data centers are located in Vilnius. It makes it easier for us to find skilled specialists and maintain our server equipment.

Vilnius, Lithuania
JM: How long have you been an OpenSRS Reseller and how has your partnership with OpenSRS helped your company succeed?
AK: We began our relationship with OpenSRS in 2007. Because of the reliability of the OpenSRS domain registration system, our partnership has saved us lots of time and allowed us to concentrate on improving our services instead of solving problems with a registrar.
JM: What can we do to make the relationship stronger?
AK: We would recommend that you expand the OpenSRS product portfolio – some decent website builder and wider SSL certificate choices would be a nice addition to it. (Editor’s Note: We’ll have some very good news for all Resellers with respect to SSL certificates in the next few weeks. Keep reading the blog for news!)
